How to make seating chart more creative?

The Sealpups, on July 30, 2019 at 5:53 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 6

My sister has a copper stand (shown in this picture) that she'll be using for the bridal shower. For my reception, I anticipate on bringing 2 easels for the "welcome" sign and the "wedding party" poster I made from etsy. I would hate to bring another easel. At first I was thinking of just taking the "wedding party" poster and printing it onto a canvas from costco but it's too much of a highlight to hide and put on a table.

With this copper stand, I was thinking of possible creative ideas for the seating chart. (i know, i'm crazy. I don't want to bring another easel but I'm great with bringing that copper stand. Anyhoo, I found this online and it is closely to what the copper stand (she made) looks like. The glass may be a little too much and I'm too much of a perfectionist to write it down myself. Also, the idea of glass with potential buzzed or drunk people scare me. Any ideas?

How about adding a garland to the sign? That can help spruce it up!

You don’t need to use glass for the sign. I would recommend acrylic or plexiglass from the inside of a large picture frame. For ours we will most likely use a piece of wood with clothespins holding their place cards (Disney fast passes).

OMG. THIS IS THE BEST THING I'VE SEEN TODAY! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

FH and I are big Disney nerds. We're having our cake topper as little chibi figurines with mickey mouse ears... If we do something like this, I'm worried it may be overkill but I do like the Disney references! This is such a good idea!

    THANK YOU Smiley heart

Can I ask where you got the format for the fastpasses?

We are also huge Disney fans, so i’m sure most of our guests will expect disney. We are using a ton of music and decor. I didn’t order them yet as we are still waiting for rsvps, but they are on Etsy. I wanna say the shop is DisDesigns or something like that.

We're double purposing our welcome sign for our seating chart. The back of the welcome sign is blank so we're just going to put the seating chart on the back. All the venue has to do is flip it over hahaha.
