How to pay for weddings?

Weddings are a lot of money but I’m curious how are you paying for your wedding? I was told don’t take loans out but I’m not sure how people pay for it all.

We saved for a year for our wedding along with saving our taxes and stimulus money. We didn't have any help from our families either. It being everything we imagined was important so we decided that was the priority. It was a large investment but I don't regret diverting the funds to that at all.

What we do is pay are bills first. Then what ever is leftover we have a wedding account and we don't touch it . Then we discuss and make plans for the wedding and then go from there.

Simple you have the wedding you can afford without breaking the bank and don't go over that.

As soon as my fiance and I started talking about marriage, we decided to start saving money. We also had a 2 year engagement. Our wedding is in 4 months and we so far have paid for everything with money we already had. Nothing from our wedding has been put on credit cards and we don't have any debt from our wedding.
