Make a list of what is most important to you. Skip what isn't. Secure your vendors asap. Call/email those you want to attend. Apply for your marriage license. Have fun on your wedding day.

Go to Eventective.com or Peerspace.com for venue ideas. Flowers from Costco. Restaurant catering. Cake from Costco or a local bakery. Get a dress from a local department store.

If you are looking to do a small wedding, perhaps consider a pop-up wedding. Lots of venues have specials for those.

Planning quickly is possible but it requires: knowing exactly what you want, being very decisive, having all around flexibility and paying most/all vendors in full.

    Congrats and best wishes!

Maybe find venues that have packages so you do less

Flowers at Costco or the local grocery store. See if you can buy an already made dress online or at a local store.

For the photographer, browse the vendor tab at the top of the page.

Make copious use of the "Vendors" and "Planning" tabs at the top of the page.

Local grocery stores and club stores often do flowers, or you could DIY them from Michael's.

As for a dress, you'll need to go off-the-rack, or a sample/returned/cancelled dress from a store near you.

It is not impossible. Nail down the vendors first and, as others have said, you have to know what you want and be decisive. I would start with venue to secure the date and then food for whatever meal you have in mind. There's a website for getting bouquets and flowers as a rental somethingborrowedblooms.com, a local bakery would likely be able to accommodate cake with a 4 week lead time. JJsHouse.com is where I ordered my dress, and I had it within 3 weeks, which means no alteration time for you, but if you're not concerned with that...or you can buy off the rack at a local bridal shop. Tuxes can probably be handled quick at men's warehouse if your groom needs one.

Don't worry, you can do it. I would, as someone else mentioned, take full advantage of the vendors tabs on here. So many couples have postponed lately, there may be quite a few vendors available at the moment. Good luck! 🌻

Hi Shannon, you can nail down your florist and photographer fairly quickly by researching and sending emails and making phone calls. In terms of your dress, I’d reach out to surrounding bridal shops who may have dresses in stock from many brides who have cancelled their wedding and no longer need their gowns. Alternatively, you may be able to find stores that have ready to wear gowns off the rack and need minimal alterations. Best of luck to you !

For flowers, I would recommend just going to Hobby Lobby and making your own bouquets, or for the day of the wedding you go to Costco, buy some real flowers and.make.bouquets

Sorry Shannon, I flossed over the name of our designer! My apologies, I would go with what the ladies are saying above with personal experience with that designer. Especially, if it’s an American made brand that doesn’t rely on international production. Good luck to you 😊!

We changed our wedding plans and had to find new vendors for everything. We are doing a ceremony only- so no cake or food. I made my own bouquet- no other flowers. My original bridesmaids don't have their dresses but are wearing something in the color family, and I'm giving them fans I made with an attached fake flower. Looking for dresses, department stores have some nice floor length white gowns- I ordered some and will return the ones I don't like when I can. I would say look at Macy's, Nordstrom, and Lulu's to start.
I found our new photographer on an app called thumbtack, where you can put out a description on what you're looking for and the photographers in your area will respond with a quote. We got a dozen quotes in a day and we found our photographer quickly.

    Best of luck!

You said you still need flowers, photography, and a dress.

Flowers - try Costco and you can DIY

Photography - reach out to everyone in your area and see what kind of last-minute deal they can give you

Dress - you need to find one off the rack with minimal alterations - maybe try ordering and paying for rush if there are no open stores in your area?
