How to remove vendor categories

Count me in too! As a planner it is really annoying to have these vendors hanging over my head that I have no intention of needing! I could delete tasks or edit tasks. See if it can be done like that Thank you!

Yes! I'm such a type A personality- it says I've only scheduled X out of XX vendors, so I feel like I'm behind when I'm not! lol

Agreed. It says I've only hired 6 of 21 vendors, but we have categories we don't need and several of the vendors we have hired fill more than one role AND it won't let me list a vendor in multiple categories. For the amount of useful tools Wedding Wire provides some of them are really poorly designed.

Not being able to delete vendors bugs me like all of you, so I hope they fix it soon! I found a way for adding one vendor to multiple spots. For example, my DJ is also doing the photobooth, ceremony music, and videography, but it only lets me put them under DJ (I guess because that's where they are listed). I clicked on the other spots where they were hired and it allowed me to "add vendor", so I just typed the name of the DJ in and it brought up a page to add them. Now, I wonder if I can get the 10 entries for each thing I hired them for to enter the reward contest. Does anyone know if that's possible? I technically hired him for 4 things, so I should be able to get 40 entries, just as I would if I hired four separate vendors.

Add me to the list - would love to delete the categories we won't need!

I totally agree! I looked for an answer to this question and found this forum that was created January 2019 so I guess they still haven't changed this. PAH-LEASE fix this!

I hope that they make this option available soon... it truly does stress you out more seeing that you only have 5 out of twenty something vendors hired and I literally don’t need more than half that 20 something...

Please add an option to delete vendors!! I have been making up vendors just to have them checked off. Like driver? I put "myself" and just chose my weddings city location 😂 please add an option to delete! Not every bride can afford all of those vendors and it makes organizing the wedding checklist a headache.

Please add that customization. it would be a feature that would make your customers happy. I know that it is possible to add that. I am a website developer.
