How to remove vendor categories

Wedding wire please pass on our feedback to your developers. This is such an important feature and it would reduce all our stress by 20% atleast.

So my work around for this has been adding in my own "vendor" by using the "Can't find your vendor? Add their Information" option. From there I "add in a vendor", give it the name "not using one", and put in my home town as the location. Then I mark it as hired and off I go! It is saving my type a brain

I totally agree that they should create a solution but 10 minutes of tedium is better to me than the stress of thinking I've missed or forgotten something.

I honestly can't believe this isn't a thing, it's 2021!!! AND you can't customize your budget! I don't want 7 categories for flowers! I just want ONE called FLOWERS!

Any progress on your Development Team adding a feature to permit users to remove vendor categories?

So bummed to see this isn't an option yet (unless I'm missing something?) and totally agree unfinished to-do lists are so stressful, I think I'm only using about half of the recommended vendors and keep feeling behind even though I'm almost completely done with booking!

Is this still not a thing? 2022 and it's still wanted. My venue takes care of the catering and DJ, it would be nice to remove these services. A big part of the reason I use WeddingWire instead of another service is because WeddingWire had less unnecessary clutter.

Was there any development on this? I'm a current bride 2 weeks away from my wedding date, and I know it might seem silly, but this is causing a lot of unnecessary anxiety on my end because a lot of these vendors are accounted for under the venue and I cannot eliminate them from my list or duplicate the venue under another category. Please help!

In 2023 and it still isn’t fixed!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who this has been bothering! I'm wondering if anyone from Wedding Wire has even looked at this since 2019. It's too bad they never did anything with this as it is obviously a much requested feature!
