How to send an informal rehearsal dinner invitation?

So, we are not doing a formal rehearsal dinner. Instead, we basically just need to inform those who are involved in the wedding when and where the rehearsal will take place. We will be serving food at the rehearsal like pizza or something similar but immediately after the rehearsal I have a group of friends coming to help do the finishing touches of decorations. Do I need to send them a formal invite or do I just send out a group text or what is the best way to go about this?

I think it's totally fine to do just a group text, especially for something casual! If you wanted to, you could find inexpensive invitation options on Etsy or somewhere and hand those out, but if you're doing a super casual event, I think a text or email with the details is totally fine.

Totally agree - it seems that it’s super casual so a group text will be fine.

You can do a group text. We used evite (it's free and easy), so that's another option.

Evite sounds cute. or you can use one of those poster making apps and make a cute announcement one with all the deets and text them that.
