How to send emails to guest through site - found 2 answers, neither works

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to message guests through the site? I found two answers, but I can't make either work:

1. Official engagedsupport answer. It says to use click on "message guest" when you're on your Guest List. I can find no such button. https://engagedsupport.weddingwire.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001129083-Contact-Guests-on-your-Guest-List

2. Forum answer from Lynnie, WW administrator. It says to go to your WW web site, and then share it with your guest.     Yeah, this was my problem too. I contacted them and they said that it was broken and they are working on a fix, but no time table. Because of this, I switched wedding websites because I wanted to reach out to my guests that have not RSVPed to remind them to since we were past the date. I then shut down the WeddingWire website and indicated we moved websites and included the link. I use Zola now because my registry is with them and I actually like their RSVP better since you can customize it. I then messaged the guests reminding them to RSVP and we switched websites and included the link. I feel like the look better fits my wedding too so it is definitely a good change!

    Dear Tara, thank you for your reply, now I know I'm not an idiot and just can't figure it out!

    My wedding is in a week so I think we'll have to stay on WW Smiley smile I'll export my guest list and send emails my own way.

    Dear WW people - this seems like a big issue - would you pass upstream to management?

We are working hard to get this tool up and running but do recommend using your email provider if you need to message guests as soon as possible.     Dear WW crew, thank you for this reply.

    If there's any way you could post in the two threads I cited earlier that the feature is temporarily disabled, that would save other people like me time trying to make it work and getting frustrated.

    It's now January 2021 and it seems WW still doesn't have this functionality. Very frustrating after investing so much time entering guests and building a website with them!
