Hey There!


So my Fiance and I are originally from small towns in Ohio. We moved to Chicago together and have got engaged here. We are having the wedding in Ohio because that's where all our family lives, and any elderly people couldn't travel to Chicago for a wedding. We would love to figure out cute, subtle ways to tie Chicago into the wedding since that is where the majority of our love story takes place. Any ideas welcome!

    You could do something like mini bags of Garrett's popcorn for favors, or name your tables after Chicago-area locations/landmarks that are important in your relationship, or you could do mini Chicago-style hot dogs for either appetizers or a late-night snack, or play some upbeat Chicago blues music during cocktail hour!

    We’re incorporating some Philadelphia elements into our wedding, you could change these to whatever is relevant for Chicago. We have a Love Sculpture cake topper, street signs as our table #s, the skyline cut out on our escort cards and are having some classic Philly snacks at the end like soft pretzels and water ice.
