Hurricane Ian/wedding canceled

If there is no place for yourself and guests to stay and this is an out of town wedding then I would say the best option is going to be rescheduling.

A couple here reported that their plans had to be redone after the Casa Ybel Resort suffered massive damage. Hope your plans can still work out well.

Oh man that's such a bummer, sorry to hear about this. I think personally I d get married at the courthouse (or in someone's backyard)on 12/3 with just my partner and maybe wedding party and immediate family and do a nice dinner afterwards. You could plan a larger reception for the springtime or maybe even next December. Whatever you decide best of luck to you.

Are you trying to stay in that particular area of Florida? The more north you go, or the more southeast, the lesser the damage. I live in Sarasota, and though we got the 115 mile an hour winds, our islands (Siesta Key, Lido Beach and Anna Maria) did not sustain long-term damage. If you need names of venues in this area, let me know and I can toss out a few. Personally, I would try to relocate for the same date.
