Hurricane Irma possibly ruining my wedding day

So I have 10 days until my wedding. I am in South Carolina, mid state. I never thought I would be in this predicament, wondering if a hurricane would ruin my wedding day. The predictions of the hurricane coming for South Carolina aren't set in stone yet but I am terrified it's going to hit us. I...

So I have 10 days until my wedding. I am in South Carolina, mid state. I never thought I would be in this predicament, wondering if a hurricane would ruin my wedding day. The predictions of the hurricane coming for South Carolina aren't set in stone yet but I am terrified it's going to hit us. I hope that thing takes a hard right turn back to the ocean where it belongs. Anyone in the same boat as me????

    Mine also. Sept 9th was our wedding day in Key West. Cruise to Cuba and Bahamas was to be honeymoon.

    Umm.. well since I'm currently evacuating and hoping I have a home to return to, my upcoming wedding is the least of my concerns. But, yes, let's worry about life threatening hurricanes interfering with wedding plans..

    Hi all, I hope first and foremost that none of you suffer life-threatening devastation or damage to your houses/livelihoods from this event. That is THE most important thing for definite. My wedding was supposed to be on North Captiva next Saturday but that is looking more and more bleak. I live in the UK and have friends/family that are meant to be travelling to Florida from the US, Canada, UK. We already had to delay our wedding to this year due to financial difficulties and now may have to delay further so we are utterly devastated and are finding this so emotionally difficult. Still monitoring the situation and praying for a better result. All of my prayers and thoughts are with those may be affected by this.

    Hang in there I love in NC but my wedding is at myrtle beach SC next weekend. Praying for everyone safety

    I live in South Florida...From the 5am update, Irma will be heading to KY then TN... So no worries for all of you in the Carolina's at this point.. Am I worried about my Venue. Nope, I'm worried about the next 3 days....
