Hey, y’all! I am having a 100% domestic destination wedding in New Orleans. We have less than 50 people coming. Our original wedding date was TODAY, but we postponed until June 20th. Now that date is looking bleak...
In my mind, I really do not think there is any possibility to get married in the fall this year due to 1) the popularity of weddings in New Orleans in the fall and 2) hurricanes. I really, really do not want to push the wedding to 2021. However, I’ve looked at the weather data and New Orleans has been hit by its worst hurricanes in the late summer and fall.
Am I over exaggerating my fear of a hurricane threatening my wedding if we moved it to the fall? Or should I just accept that I need to move it to 2021?
