Just Said Yes November 2021

i am in need of advice!

Tonya, on November 23, 2020 at 1:51 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

I am in love with works of www.eprisevents.com and this wedding planner is in my city.

I do not know how to start the conversation, should I ask specific questions?

I do not have a budget for my wedding, I really do not know how much everything costs, but i do hope to see at least 200 guests and definitely not a banquet hall lol So, what I am trying to say, do planners usually charge a flat fee or a budget-based commission?

It depends on how much you are using them for. Are you looking for a full time planner to start helping from Day 1? Or are you looking for someone to start helping once you get closer to your wedding? Some planners do everything (decorating, keeping of with vendors, day of coordination...etc) so I think it depends on what exactly you are looking for.

They typically charge a flat fee for planning/coordinating services and have "add ons" after that. Most wedding planners offer different services, such as full planning, partial planning, and/or day of coordinating.

I would reach out to the planner you have in mind and ask what services they offer. The conversation should flow from there.

Agree with the others- reach out to the planner & see what your options are.

When I searched around for coordinators and planners, i noticed that in my area, month-of and day-of coordinators charged a flat fee while full planners charged a percentage based off your wedding budget.

Definitely reach out to get a better idea of how this particular planner prices her services since each business operates differently.
