i am recovering from Covid

My fiancé and I are just getting back to work after being diagnosed with Covid. We both lost our sense of taste and sense of smell. Thankfully, we already did our tasting for the wedding meals. We do still need to do our tasting for the cake, and cupcakes. Just kind of hoping for the best, we might have to bring an extra person to do the tasting. 😂

    Glad you guys are doing well! How bad did it suck to have Covid? I know everyone has different experiences with it but I’m curious to know how you guys did? Did it feel like just a normal cold?

    Yes I am hoping that our senses come back before we do a tasting. My taste is back for the most part, but it’s been a week with no smell and it has been interesting. 😂

    It was definitely not like a normal cold. We were pretty lucky to have mild cases, I have taken care of patients that are not as lucky. I was very weak and couldn’t hardly walk from one end of the house to the other. I slept for like 3 days straight because I was so exhausted. I can finally walk out to the mailbox and back without coughing. It’s my first day back to work today, so we’ll see how it goes! 😊
