i can't find my website?

What site did you use? I used Zola and didn't have to pay for my domain!

Most use withjoy.com or wix.com which are much more userfriendly

The website search feature by name has not worked on Wedding Wire for awhile. You are not alone in terms of that problem. I know I've seen couples with the same issue/question for many months. Not sure when or if they are going to ever fix it.

I love how you say "currently". I emailed support about this back in April 2020. This has been an issue for at-least a year now. I will not recommend anyone to use your website in the future.

Having the same issue on the main page when trying to search for myself and my fiancé.... and I worked on the website for MONTHS. My friends can’t find us when they search there either. I am in the same boat as my invites are already out with the link on the invite as well so I can’t just say screw it... SO, long story longer, I believe as long as you use the link they give you on the left hand side setting tab when your editing (should read something like “weddingwire.us/website/ *your assigned url*) it should work if that’s what you give your guests. Yes, it’s a pain they can’t simply put in our names to look us up for some reason, but not all hope is lost, they just have to type in the whole URL and you are going to have to let them know whatever that is. I hope this helped!!!

Wedding wire—how far is your development team on fixing this issue? We are waiting to send our save the dates until we have an easier and more concise domain name. So—how we doing on this?

I just rather not put the whole link they provide simply bc it is long... WeddingWire what is your current status on this saga of an issue.

Disaster even MONTHS later. I am in the same boat. I mailed out invitations this week and now getting texts people can't find us on weddingwire.us when they search for us. I was able to find us just days ago in the same search tool. Now I no longer can. Embarrassing. I will let everyone know to stay away from "wedding wire". I wish I saw these comments sooner but why would I assume a search engine wouldn't work in 2021? This is seriously messed up. I am so embarrassed to have printed the instructions on our invites and it's too late to create another website. This company should be ashamed.

I am also in the same boat and so frustrated because I put so much work into my website and my guests cannot find it.

View Quoted Comment Girl...it is a lost cause. I am so sorry. I went all the way up to the CEO (Timothy Chi). He said he will have someone look into it. Nothing's been done. So, people can't find us if they search for our names. I feel so bad for couples who set up their gift registries through Weddingwire (we don't have a registry, created the website for informational purposes only). I am so sorry. I even printed on our invitations "search for us on Weddingwire" 🤦‍♀️
