Did you live with your boyfriend or girlfriend before becoming husbands and wife? If so how did y’all prepare for the day of the wedding?

We have lived together for 8 years. We’ll be spending the night before together at home and parting ways in the morning. He’ll be getting ready at the hotel we’ll be spending the wedding night at and I’ll be getting ready at our house after my salon appointments.

We live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we are getting married on the beach on the coast of Texas. So it’s a destination wedding because we’re going somewhere else to get married. We’re not getting married near our home. It was the simplest solution for us because our families live four or five hours apart from each other, but the beach location is the same distance drive for each of them and this way we honeymoon and wedding all in one. Plus it gives everyone the excuse for a mini vacation.

Fiancé is moving in soon to my parents house while we save for our wedding and our home. He stays frequently, sometimes weeks at a time. Just have to reorganize for him to officially move in.

    Input from the guys..... lol
My Fiancee and I are living together now and have been for about 2 years. Once the wedding is upon us, we will still be together and wake up that morning and have breakfast......then do any last minute check-in on the ceremony prep then go our separate ways until we see each other at the Ceremony start time......

Yep! So I'll be staying at the venue the night before and he'll travel in from the airbnb with family after getting ready. Then he and I will stay at the hotel the night of the wedding and everyone else will go back to the house!

Yep we lived together before he proposed and got married. We have a great relationship and we worked together well. We did talked about getting married since we were living together and things were working well for us. We have talked about how we were going to help each other out and other things to make sure we were heading in the right direction. Communication was the key for us to move forward with marriage.

He just moved in with me last weekend because his lease was up, I already own my home and our wedding is in 3 months, so it did not make sense for him to sign a costly month to month lease for only 3 months. Our wedding is at a vineyard about 1.5 hours from the house and multiple cars will be leaving from the house so we will take separate cars. Hair and makeup will be done at the house and everyone will slip into their attire at the vineyard to prevent wrinkling during the ride.

Me and my fiancé have been living together for 2 years now, together for 5 engaged one. I will say you don’t know someone until you live with them. The week of our wedding he will be at his moms I’ll see him at the altar.
