So I have no idea fully what I'm doing but I know I started late. I don't know if I need to change my date or try to plan everything as I can. I'm starting to worry if it'll be okay and I'm just freaking out about nothing. Wedding is in mid-April and I have basically nothing done. HELP!!!

Do you have an actual contract signed for that day? Have you drafted a guest list? Most of your decisions will be based around that. 9 months is definitely enough; people have planned wedding with less than that. But vendors are getting more booked than usual this year so you have to start ASAP.

Get a venue ASAP. Most places are booked until 2023. Also be prepared you may not get the exact April date you want.

As the pp stated, make a rough draft guest list and a budget. If you haven't already, look for a venue that is within your budget and can accommodate your guest list. Then start with what is most important to you, ideal photographer, florals, dress shopping, etc. There are lots of tools on here to help with planning

Make sure you book a venue before committing to invites. I’d make that a priority.

I agree with Jasmine that you should secure a venue first. We originally planned on a 1 year engagement to get married this October, but decided 2 years was better because there was only 1 available venue for us to choose that we liked.

Once you book a venue and have your day, look into DJs and catering because those also seem to be what book up quickest.

We chose our venue, photographer, DJ, wedding planner and caterer within a span of two weeks - these are really the BIG things you need to book. So, I believe it's truly possible to plan a wedding for Mid-April! You just have to hop on it and start and then everything will fall into place! If you feel like it's a lot to take on, then maybe start with a coordinator! Good luck, you and your partner can do it! Smiley ring

That's plenty time. Make a budget and find a venue this month. Next month go dress shopping and start booking other vendors. You have 9 months and that's totally doable. Good luck!
