i don’t know where i want to go for a honeymoon

Alyssa, on September 28, 2024 at 11:08 AM Posted in Honeymoon 1 6
We decided to plan our honeymoon after we were done after all the wedding stuff so we could save some more money. I am super lost because I don’t have dream destinations except for like Italy or Japan, but we want to stay in the US. I like to do different activities and he just wants to have a beach to go to. We honestly were planning to go the end of January into February. The only place I think of is Florida, or Georgia. I don’t really know anything about planning trips, since my husband plans all the trips. We planned on staying there roughly 8-10 days. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Have you considered Puerto Rico? You don't need a passport to fly there (as long as you're within the US), they have beaches, the rainforest for hiking and zip lining, historical forts, Old San Juan, bioluminescent bays, tours and tastings at Bacardi, etc.

You might consider a cruise. That will give your husband plenty of time to sit in the sun but activities for you as well. There are all-US cruises, or ones out of the US to the Caribbean where you don’t need a passport.

Yes, a cruise sounds like a wonderful idea! And that timeframe is a really good time to go!

Maybe try the Santa Barbara area and visit Solvang from there. Or further north in wine country.

If you split the time between Carlsbad and San Diego, you can have beach time and cultural time. It depends also what your husband wants to do at the beach since the water temperature may not be ideal.

I visited Puerto Rico about a decade ago for vacation with my parents and sister. I think it could be a great option, providing a more unique experience but still as a U.S. territory. The beaches are really pretty; some even have that aqua-blue water. Palm trees are huge there as well, and there is rainforest to explore. It could be quite a romantic getaway. Puerto Ricans are also very hospitable.

Hello, we plan our wedding destination at Singapore but we we decided to have our honeymoon at Indonesia. Indonesia is such a hidden gem for a honeymoon! There’s so much to see and do. One time when we visit there 4 years ago we really agree that we will get back there and we should spend our honeymoon here. We know, Bali is well-known, but there are also less popular spots like Raja Ampat and Komodo Island that are absolutely beautiful. You can also stay in luxurious resorts, visit temples, go hiking, or even try diving in clear waters. and lastly The food is delicious!!! (The best Smiley kiss ) and the locals are so welcoming. you could check out this blog that might help you decide https://gowithguide.com/blog/indonesia-tourism-statistics-2023-all-you-need-to-know-5383

    I hope this helps youuu!!
