Just whining. The more I see it, the less I like it as a wedding dress. I had never gotten an "ah-ha" moment with it. Even with the crinoline skirt I kind of just... don't want to wear it on the day. It was my back up in case I didn't find anything I really loved. Which, I haven't found anything I really love in my price range. I've altered the waist, ripped it, hemmed it, stuffed myself into spanks for it, and I just don't love it. There's 2 weeks left until my wedding.
I’m getting married the same weekend as you! Is your dress still in alterations? Mine is and I’m having a hard time seeing beyond all the pins. Plus general nerves are making it worse. I bet you look great and maybe getting in your own head. I don’t have much advice but I’m definitely following to see what others have to say.
Oh gosh! I'm so sorry. I think you are being too hard on yourself, and nerves have probably set in. What about adding some color with a belt? Hugs to you. Do you have a picture of the dress? Maybe, we can put our heads together and think of something. Try not to worry!❤
Do you think a different cover up on top would help? I really like your dress but personally think the sweater is a bit off. I also like the idea of a belt.
I'm sorry you're feeling this way. Maybe you will feel better when your hair and make-up are done.

If I were in your situation, I would play both hands of cards. I would see what options were available to make your current dress something you like (belt, colored crinoline skirt, a detachable skirt to put over it, something different to put over it instead of the sweater- maybe something sequined?, or maybe a lace bridal topper?), and I would also hit some bridal stores ASAP! A lot of them are having major sample sales right now, so you could buy a sample dress that fits you right off the rack! That way you knew all the options available to you and can pick the one that works best for you. Good luck girl!!
Yeah I've been looking at toppers. The problem is my arms are so big they don't fit in most of them so it has to be something stretchy. I really do think it's the top I'm not happy with the most. The bottom looks fine. As long as I'm wearing spanks it doesn't show my stomach.
I agree, I think you should ditch the shrug. That is throwing it off for me personally. Could you find a cape? Or a Shaw ? Something that flows without the sleeves, in my opinion. Maybe with a hint of sparkle? Try a pic without the shrug.
I'll try a pic without the shrug tonight when I get home. I just have to have my arms covered for the church ceremony so grrrr lol I like the top a lot sleeveless. But the back is an illusion and FH disapproves due to our religious beliefs (it also shows the plethora of tattoos I have on my back which makes my dad mad. I can't win here on the modesty thing). So I'm guessing I'll have to keep something over my shoulders for the entire thing.

Definitely try a different shrug, but.... If you don't feel bridal in it, it might not be the dress for you. I don't know what your budget is, but did you try Amazon and cocomelody? They actually have great options for quick orders and you can return if you order standard sizes.
Honestly, I think a belt or embellishments just under your bust, a different shrug, or a detachable skirt might make it feel like a whole different dress. It looks good on you. Maybe you just need some more pizazz!
I agree about putting your efforts into finding a different cover-up. While I understand why you want the shrug, this one seems much too casual as a wedding dress cover-up. Both Azazie and David's have a few different wraps/cover-ups (check the "accessories" tab). If for time-sake you want to look at bricks & mortar retailers, I'd try Macy's or your local mall stores that cater to HS girls for prom-type dresses (maybe Torrid, for larger sizes?). Another option would be to talk with a seamstress about making something out of fabric you select that's a better match to your dress. For someone with even moderate sewing talent, I'd think a short bolero-type jacket could be made in a day or two, using a commercially available pattern. Good luck! You'll find something that ties it all together better!
