i got meningitis 7 days before my wedding

Omg!!! I am currently still in the hospital it's Monday and my wedding is friday!!! They say I am no longer contagious( it's viral not bacterial) and as long as I can keep food down I can go home but I need to rest for a few days before the wedding and I have so much to do! I'm glad I have great family and friends who are helping me but still stressed, I look horrible and pale. Good thing I have great make up lol

    First, I AM SO SORRY that you are this ill!!! What terrible timing!

    Secondly, as an architectural project manager, I will tell you, the key to my success is delegation. And unfortunately, you will likely need to delegate all of your remaining tasks. Know that this is not the end of the world. You sound like you have an amazing support system - use them! They are there for you, as they should be!

    Also, high levels of stress will probably not help your illness either. Your day will happen. Just try to relax until then and enjoy it!

    Try to delegate as much as you can (I know it’s easier said than done), but ur first priority is to get better & rest will definitely help.

    So sorry to hear this! I hope you get feeling better soon! I tested positive for influenza A last Wednesday, and FH tested positive for strep today (our wedding I next Saturday). Crazy how sickness can creep up during an exciting time! Get some much needed rest and I’m sure your day will be beautiful!
