I had my hair trial on the weekend! I was super anxious about it, because when we had to postpone due to covid, my original hair dresser refused to even countenance looking at any date options in a six month period, which meant I had to find a new person at somewhat short notice, in what is likely to be one of the busiest wedding years in ages. I was afraid I would compare this new lady to the person who has been doing my hair for years, and be disappointed.
But, you guys. She was SO LOVELY. She was really consultative, really kind, listened to what I wanted and totally understood. Probably better than my ex-hairdresser, to be honest.
When it was done, I actually got quite emotional, because it's been so long since we've been able to do anything nice for the wedding, and it looked great. It made it feel 'real' again - because a part of me is feels like I won't really believe our wedding is allowed to happen until I am actually walking down the aisle.
