I hate fondant and buttercream icing.

Naked cake?

I like egg white pretty good. oh whipped cream is good! not whip cream like the stuff we buy in the fridge section. its what we had on our cake. it's like sugar and a can of cream whipped together very light and fluffy. yumm1 and it holds shape rather well.

Whip cream! My dad hates those too so I make stabilized whip cream. Heavy cream, powdered sugar and gelatin. Whip whip whip!!

I am not a big fan of buttercream because of how sickeningly sweet it is, but I tried a swiss buttercream (it's made with egg whites), and I found it to be fairly tasty.

Whipped cream icing is pretty good.

You could also ask about ganache (basically a chocolate sauce). Apparently, Australians use ganache all the time instead of buttercream. You can get it in any variety of chocolate (dark, white, etc.).

Naked cake, but that seems so sad,lol....how about whipped cream? OR cream cheese icing? OR chocolate ganache? OR mashed potatoes? Just kidding.

OR you could do a stack of cheesecakes with fruit toppings, or rice krispie treats...

Chocolate or white chocolate ganache, whipped frosting? What kind of buttercream do you not like? Cuz I hate the kind that comes on most store bought cakes, the greasy over sweet stuff that tastes like they mixed too much sugar with some shortening. Gross! But I like some home made buttercreams and there's the old fashioned frosting that goes with red velvet, not cream cheese it's made by thickening milk with flour and than adding sugar and butter.

Chocolate cake, my FH doesn't like fondant, buttercream or whipped cream. So we are having two cakes. One will be Chocolate frosting and the main cake will be buttercream.

There are tons of different types of frosting. Cream cheese, french buttercream, chocolate, caramel, strawberry, the options are pretty endless.

Love, love, love whip cream icing! Usually I just don't eat the icing, but if it's whiped cream ill destroy it! Yummmmm

We had strawberry pie. It was delicious! We had a great pie stand and I thought it looked really cool and unique.

Who hates buttercream? Perhaps you have had fake buttercream.

Whipped cream is another option. Or, what about a dessert bar with cookies and other sweet treats instead of a cake?

@Kathy, I hate American buttercream. I've even made it from scratch. It's nasty. Other types are good, but American buttercream is really gross.
