I hate my boudoir pictures.

Like every time I look at them, I sweat from how heated I get because of how much I hate them. It 100% IS NOT my photographers fault. Her ability to take beautiful pictures is uncanny. Like every time I look at them, I sweat from how heated I get because of how much I hate them. It 100% IS NOT my photographers fault. Her ability to take beautiful pictures is uncanny. It has everything to do with my just not having the right outfits and being a little heavier than I'm used to. The things I wore were an afterthought (actually gifts given to me the night before from a friend that just aren't what I wanted to wear) and just didn't lift or tuck me in the right places. I should have just invested the money in the right pieces and not had this problem. I never thought I had body image issues until I saw those pictures.

SO, tell me how to word the e-mail to my photographer that I want to re-do them, but not because of anything she did wrong.

Thanks for understanding my true intent and not taking offense. Something like a bruise, I can't fathom not fixing that. Do you feel that if the photographer was cognizant of what can be fixed in Photoshop that you would prefer that outcome, and did it without you knowing, you may have felt good about the photos? All things to consider when re booking with someone. I hope it all goes well for you Smiley smile

Sorry they didn't turn out as you hoped. It seems like the photographer would understandable. Keep us posted KM! This past week, I've been having a hard time connecting with my boudoir photographer and wondering if that's a sign I should look for another.

I think she would be fine scheduling another shoot if you word it the way you did here, however I think most of our FHs see us for how beautiful we really are and chances are if you show him he will love the way you look in them. Dont be too hard on yourself.

I beg to differ, by the way. Our first engagement shoot was a mess. it was the salons fault and our fault, and after all his hard work and time, my photographer redid them, free of charge, bc he is amazing. So, yes, a photographer somewhere will do that.

KM! I had my boudior on Friday. Thanks to a freeway being closed and also bc I have the world's worst Karma or some shit, I was almost 2 hours late. My 3 hour session got cut down to an hour. I am nervous to see mine, I poured so much time thought and money into prepping and who even knows if it was worth it. My hair had fallen, I was in tears so my makeup was iffy. I hope they turn out lovely... But I'm nervous.

Post an update once you talk to photog. I'm curious to see how this goes.

Definitely what @kelsie said. Just be totally honest and tell her just what you told us. That you love the quality, but aren't happy with the outfits and whatnot! I'm sure she will totally understand! I'm sure you look beautiful, though!!
