It sounds weird but dabbing a little toothpaste on it before you go to bed will dry it out quicker.

The toothpaste and then if it's almost a head but not quite a washcloth with hot water will draw it out. I've found that sometimes it's best to just get the sucker popped so it'll start healing faster.

I used toothpaste once but it didn't help me. I always use Vicks vapor rub. I know it may sound silly but it really works.

Take a small piece of bread and soak it in milk then put it on the pimple with a bandade. Leave it over night. It will dry and pull everything out. Then use a stridex pad or rubbing alcohol on it. Wait for that to dry and then moisturize. Moisturize it well everyday so you don't have a dry patch of skin. I hope it goes away before your big day! Good luck!

Please please please don't pop it this close to the wedding! You will create an open wound that will still be healing on your wedding day, and that is worse than a bump. You can cover a bump with makeup easier than a wound. Be careful not to over-medicate it or dry it out, either, or you'll get dry skin around it. Do what you can in the next few days, but if it is still there as of 2 days before the wedding, try to just accept it and have faith that a) no one will care and b) your photographer can touch up your photos. Mine said he does it all the time, we all give ourselves acne from the stress!

What ever you decide to do, just keep the area clean with something mild. Once it pops (if it does) no make-up for at least a day if you can and keep the area clean. I have even used a small dab of neosporen (sp?) if its bad enough just to speed up the healing with no scar.

FYI if it's still red on your wedding day have your make up artist use a small make up brush to dab a green concealer on the red area then cover with your foundation. The green counteracts the red and really does work!

The main thing is to keep it from becoming infected. Try all of the PP suggestions, but *don't* stick your fingernails along side it to pop it! I use lavender and/or tea tree essential oils to keep breakouts from getting really bad. They are naturally anti-bacterial and especially lavender, kind to your skin. Good Luck!

I've heard of good old fashioned toothpaste but haven't had much luck with that. I go to Walmart/Target and get Acne Free. It comes in a package with three different products cleanser, toner & moisturizer. Use them all religiously twice a day. It keeps blemishes away and improves skin tone. Best wishes!

Yes, as a PP poster said, do not use your fingers to pop it. If it is that bad and so close to popping and you have to "help" it along, use either a tool or place some tissue around your fingers so you dont have skin on skin and dont put too much pressure. If its ready it will go without it. I have a friend who is that big fancy word I cant spell for people who do facials and those type of things, and they taught her in school to use her fingers rather then a tool because you can feel the pressure but to use a tissue or soft cloth around your fingers to prevent infection.

OK I'm home and the Neutrogena stuff is:

    Rapid Clear

    Acne Defense

    Face Lotion

    oil-free daily lotion

    visibly reduces

    breakouts in

    8 HOURS

    helps prevent

    new breakouts

    Neutrogena

    salicylic acid acne treatment

That's exactly what the tube says - line by line (I'm not anal)

It's a flat tube White and Orange

I'm pretty sure it comes in a box - lasts a long time so I can't remember for sure about the box.

And please, please please don't pop it.

The thing I like about the above lotion is that it works on "blind" pimples - the ones that are just a bump that hurts without a head.

You have time for this to clear.

    Good luck!

What I would do is use antibactial soap and hot water. That helps me and my daughters..

I can't say about the toothpaste because I have never tried it. I quess I could c how it could work b/c of the toothpaste making the pimple dry out.

Cheecks-Thank U sweetie!!! DIVA I will be indeed

LOL..but actually I tried the toothpaste and it didn't do to much, but I used to work at a dermatology office for 3 years before I had my daughter so I called in a favor and got some acne gel and Ren-tin-a and it worked great!!! Still got a little redness but I think it will be gone in a couple of day

Try pure lavender essential oil. It is anti-bacterial, reduces inflammation, soothing and healing. Should clear up the rest in time and help prevent any more.
