I just got back from Dollartree - they have....

Mrs Cheapskate, on March 27, 2015 at 5:35 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

Some things I noticed today, that have not been in my Dollar store were: these plastic vases that looked like they were made of saran wrap...BUT they came with 3 packages of those "magic waterbeads" you put in the bottom of vases. Not sure how much those beads usually are, but it came with 3 different colors in each package, and the saran wrap vase (which could just be tossed) was pretty tall. They also had Pew bows 2 for $1.00‘ Although these are not the largest of bows, they are very nice. Its the kind you pull on two ribbons and it makes into a bow with streamers hanging down. They are white. I also saw bags of colored sand for either sand ceremonies or vases. There were 4 different colors, and each bag was the size of a large bean bag. Last, the chocolate coins (for favors) are out for easter. 9 varied domination coins for $1.00. If you are looking for these do not bother going to mine, because I bought them all ! :-)

I have been a fan of the dollarama for some wedding crafting items. I got twine for doing twine wrapped bottles, pearl stickers, square mirrors, lace, ribbons, and basic supplies like tape and glue.

Budget bride or not, why not get a deal where you can?

I was just at the dollar tree a couple days ago and was pleased to find Shepard's hooks. I have been looking for them to use for aisle decor, but couldn't find them for less than $5-6. So that was a score. As could be expected, the quality was cheap, but I only plan to use them once so I don't care.
