I'm about 3 months away and I get emotional every time I think about it lol I'm just so excited to finally be married & have our own. I feel like I won't sleep that week though.

Omgsh me too!!! I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’ve only been engaged for a month now and I feel like I’ve cried about 10 times a day. I’m just so happy!

I've had those moments. This past Sunday was my birthday, and in the card he gave me, my fiance wrote that he couldn't wait to make me his wife in six months. I broke down crying.

That's very sweet, too, and thank you for the birthday wishes! We had to reschedule our wedding because of the pandemic, so I've been a bit extra emotional with wedding stuff for the past year.

Definitely not alone, and I'm getting married on the 24th as well! I've been happy crying pretty much every time I've worked on wedding stuff for the past couple of weeks. Our pastor just sent over an email with a general outline of the ceremony.... I looked at it and just started happy ugly crying... while at work. I'm working on getting the shot list to our photographer right now and I can only work on it for about 5 minutes before my vision is too blurry from tears to do anything else!

We just went and set up our registries this weekend and I got a little misty-eyed when we started scanning. It took me a long time to find my guy. I was previously in an on/off-again relationship for 11 years and it ended when he ghosted me. I was 38 at the time and it seemed like the dating pool was a barren wasteland, I went on so many awful dates... I laugh now because I went into my first date with my now-fiance thinking that he'd be my last online date because I was so over it! And it turns out, I was right! He was well worth the wait, but I am one of the last of my friends to get married (a few are even onto second marriages now, lol) and tbh before meeting him I was pretty convinced marriage just wasn't going to happen for me. So every so often it hits me that this is really happening, and I just get teary! I think I'm going to be a complete wreck right before our big day! Congrats to you, I hope you have a wonderful wedding - enjoy every bit of it!!

Beautiful!! When I get all up my feels, I'm total water works! Mine's in less than 2 months and I haven't written my vows fully because I start crying too much! lol You go ahead and cry girl, it's just releasing stress and making room for enjoyment! Congratulations and have fun!!

I am a cryer and have caught myself crying like picking out my dress, seeing our official engagement photos, I tear up at least once a month when I think how lucky I am to be getting married to my fiance he is the greatest man in the world and is perfect for me.

First off congratulations!! Second, it's probably good that you're allowing the emotions to just release. I think I kind of put it all in the back of my mind, both good and bad, and then cried ridiculously the day/night before🤣 I did tear up when I came across the song I would be walking down the isle to though. The dang violins just got me lol
