My wedding is Sept 12 and I have been planning for over a year now. I really want to tighten up and lose afew pounds for our wedding and honeymoon. I eat a pretty low calorie diet and have been trying to eat clean but I have cheat days where I eat alot of crap. My problem I think is lack of exercise. I work 8-5 M-F and I have meetings I attend every Monday, Wednesdsy, Friday and I am gone till 10 at night. I could go on Tuesdays or Thursdays but I am exhausted! I have tried to push myself to exercise at home but I am not seeing the results. I need some motivation or a miracle 🤦‍♀️

I think exercising isn't a must. healthy diet is much more important so try to stick to it. And, to be honest, I'm skeptical about cheat days. To me it is better to eat about 1400 calories per day and include little treats for myself like sweets, chocolate, etc. When you have your favorite food when you want to it is much better than being on strict diet for 5 days and eating like crazy for 2 days. Try to keep your balance and don't forget to treat yourself. You won't need cheat meal days if you have something tasty everyday.

I used to use it, now I use lose it. It’s so much better and more advanced for the features I want / need.

I was an MFP fan for years, until last year

Maybe if you find a workout partner it will make it easier to go. and then once it becomes a routine you will begin to like it and it will give you energy. I also do low calorie but I set alarms on my phone and get up to walk every hour. I maintain between 12-15K steps a day. Start there it might help.

We are all super busy with life, FH, kids, careers but we find time to do what is important to us. Wedding planning is stressful and time consuming but we find time for that so you must find time for exercise not only to lose a few pounds but it rejuvenates the body as well.

I think the best is to find your sport you enjoy doing and after that it will not be a pain in the a**. Even if that is running, swimming, yoga, boxing, etc. Something that you enjoy, you can turn your mind off during exercise and makes you happy. I think once you have your sport, you will see results and that is the best motivation! My other tip with the food...if you do not buy it, you will not eat it. When you are in the shop, just ask yourself - Does my body really need this? It was hard for me first and many times I kinda forgot to ask myself, but once I made this as my routine it worked. Good luck, you can do it!!! Smiley smile

I think counting calories and weigh ins can get really toxic, I would suggest starting with light exercise and transitioning to a plant based diet! Then up the workouts and make sure you are getting lots of grains, beans, fruits, and veggies! It's miraculous how much food has to do with our health. Best of luck! Smiley heart

Sorta I have been trying alot of the suggestions on here and I still have not seen any changes. I am changing my eating schedule this week to try and change things up. Here is what I am doing. Drinking a green juice smoothie for breakfast, having a healthy lunch possibly a snack, taking a long walk during lunch and having a protein shake for dinner. Doing some light workout at night.
