i lost my fiance

On Friday September 18th, 2020 my fiancé's hear stopped, I gave him CPR trying to save him. On Tuesday September 22nd, 2020 I had to say goodbye. I have no idea how I'm going to make it without him. I lost the only man I ever truly loved. We were planning a future and it got cut short.

    Hi Tylijah:

    I am truly sorry to hear about your fiance's death. I lost my first husband 8+ years ago in a similar way--I tried giving him CPR and he died and I was lost for years.

    Give yourself all the time in the world you need to let your aching heart heal. I met my fiance 6 1/2 years after my husband died. It was right for me to wait. I wasn't in a good place mentally or emotionally before that, and even sometimes now I have some struggles with being with someone else and the anxiety I feel about losing him too.

    People put a lot of pressure on people who have lost their partners. They always seem to feel we've moved on too quickly or not quickly enough, everyone thinks they know what's best for you. Only you will ever know that.

    Grieve your fiance. The pain is all that love for him showing itself to you. Take care of yourself and be kind to yourself.

    Oh Tylijah, I am so sorry to hear about your fiance. I cannot begin to imagine what you must be going through. I pray you have family and friends to be with you and comfort you through this and that you will continue to feel the great love you shared with him. May God be with you and grant you peace and solace.
