I love him, but he drives me crazy!

Does your FS have any little habits that just drive you nuts?

Mine always takes our good tupperware and silverware to work and magically "loses" them. They naver turn up. It drives me crazy!!!

I've talked about this one before, but FH takes our plastic cups from the kitchen and drinks in his truck. The problem is the cups never get back to the kitchen... One day I just got mad and cleaned them out and there were 22 cups in backseat of his truck! He would see we didn't have any cups, and just go buy more...

    He's improving though..

It is with the wedding planning. I do about 75% of the researching on vendors, "present" them to him, we discuss, I email the vendors back with questions, set up the appointments, etc. He then drags his feet, complaining we are moving to quickly, need to do more research until a switch flips and he is stressed because we haven't made a decision yet (I think his parent may say something to him and he realizes a decision is needed). It does drive me crazy.

He sweats when he sleeps and makes the sheets all stinky. Fortunately, he does most of the laundry!!

My FH, when talking to me, will stop talking in mid sentence, usually its because he is distracted by his newspaper or the computer. I will be standing there waiting for the next word. After a few seconds Im like "and?" then he starts talking again until he stops again. He will stop like 5 times in a short conversation.

@Getting excited...mine sweats terribly while he sleeps too. I end up uncovering him while he sleeps to "air" him out.

He doesn't take anything seriously! we are having our ceremony and reception at his parent's place and his step dad is ANAL about his yard... so when we were talking about sparklers or bubbles for our exit Todd said we should have people line up on either side of us and then one side throw fertilizer and the other throw grass seed... WTF?

Yeah he has a bunch of little things that annoy me on a daily basis - forgets to turn off lights, leaves dirty clothes EVERYWHERE, hogs the bed and blankets at night, and he is ridiculously needy (I sometimes feel like I am marring a two year old rather then a 35 yr old), but the good thing is I talk to him all the time about the things that bother me the most and he tells me the things that I do that bother him. We are a work in progress Smiley smile

We live in a touristy area, and FS always walks through people's photos instead of waiting for them to finish, or going around. So if he's in any of your vacation pics, sorry!

Let's see, he keeps overscheduling us because he has to go-go-go all the time, and can't understand that maybe I want to spend Sunday afternoon reading a magazine on the couch instead of going to our umpteenth obligation of the weekend. Also, he watches TV shows on his laptop with earphones in, and CACKLES. At the top of his lungs. Since I don't know what's funny, I keep wondering if he's had a breakdown of some sort.

Lol @Danie- mine does the same thing!

FH chomps his food when he's not focusing- like when he's watching TV (and since we're trying to instill good manners in the children, it's super annoying). He consistently thinks my socks are his daughter's- when I run out of socks I check her drawer and sure enough, there they all are!

But I love him despite his annoying little quirks! Smiley smile

Oh, Jenn, I hadn't even thought of food stuff! He plops down right next to me on the couch, and eats crunchy or slurpy food...even though he KNOWS eating noises make me crazy and he's crunching right in my ear! He'll also flop himself onto the couch when I'm holding hot coffee, and I wind up splashing myself. Ouch.

Wow, I'm cranky. Can you tell he just moved in last month and there's an adjustment period? Smiley smile

His work clothes never make it to the basket, and this is probably wrong of me, but he likes to cuddle to much. Sometimes I just need some space to stretch out!

Oh oh October bride brought up music and I just thought of how much of a music snob FH is. He's a musician and heavily into rock of the Led Zepplin/Pink Floyd genre... and, according to him, everything else sucks. I can't even turn on our local top-40 station without him cringing like he's in pain during every song. It drives me NUTS! I've started a rule- when he's driving he can pick the music, but when I'm driving I get to pick. And he's not allowed to complain. This also gets me out of driving a lot of the time!

Tanda! My FH does the same thing with our dishes. I swear we have like 3 forks left! He also gets out of the shower soaking wet and leaves a wet trail from the bathroom to the bedroom. It drives me nuts!
