Hi to all the future brides on here! I'm getting married on June 4th of next year and I have yet to find our venue. We are on a very & I mean very tight budget! But we want something elegant & timeless. We were looking into Outdoor Ceremony & reception on the same place! Something classy/vintage. Maybe like a creek/Garden but all we have for the wedding is about $10,000 this is the budget for everything! I'm in the Southern California area, but willing to travel 1-2 hours away if I have to! Thank you so much beautiful brides! I'm stressing out Smiley sad

This one also has a couple low-budget outdoor options in LA (:

In the central valley. I'm having a reception at a rustic barn/garden type venue (best of both worlds lol). All inclusive for 40 per person (except for cost of alcohol). Could go up depending on what you want. I think the most was 55 per person and that was a steak meal. Other venues are around the same cost, even cheaper. Maybe you could look up some in bakersfield? Just over the grapevine, about 2.5 hours?

Honestly, that's prime wedding season, and on a Saturday. You won't be in any position to bargain. You will do much better budget wise if you choose a Friday or Sunday! Also, the more time you give yourself to plan, the better you'll be able to shop around for the best price.

I know that weddings at Wedgewood locations are all-inclusive and very affordable (as @WiseOwl suggested). My best friend got married at Wedgewood in Ventura and she was very happy. IMO, the food was very good, and her happiness makes me happy but I'm not excited about golf course weddings.

I suggest Limoneira Ranch in Santa Paula, CA. They have vintage touches and best of all, you can have your ceremony in a citrus orchard! So romantic! It is my top choice, check it out. I found it here:

I don't understand how a fee can range from 34-80.00 per person, unless you're including brunch on a Thursday.

Don't forget that most quoted prices need to have tax and service added to them.

Elegance and Timelessness being up to you, check into state parks. Renting their areas tends to be rather cheap, cutting that cost. Keep in mind, most state parks are either dry, so no alcohol, or restrict you to beer and wine, no hard stuff. If that's not important that's another cost you can eliminate. The expense will be the tent, if needed, and the catering.

In your second pic, each column with floral arrangement will probably cost a min. of $250.

Check out www.CostOfWedding.com for average prices in your area to get some idea of whether or not your budget is reasonable for that many guests.

Hi Katherine - I'm getting married at Wedgewood Menifee Lakes and they're one of the more affordable Wedgewood properties. We are also doing it on a Friday to save money, so consider that. Some other options I found in my search that were budget friendly:

-El Dorado Golf Course (Long Beach)

    -Rec Park 18 (Long Beach)

    -RSM Tennis Club (OC)

    -David Baker Golf Course (OC)

    -Mile Square Golf Course (OC)

    Good luck!!
