Do to life events our medium size (50-70) venue situated wedding has now become a small back yard wedding. Prior to events happening I had ordered my save the dates. But now with it being a small back yard wedding do I still send them out or take the $ loss?

Do the Save The Dates have any inaccurate information on them (address of old venue, incorrect date, etc)? If not, you could still send out the Save The Dates to only those who you definitely plan to invite to your backyard wedding. Otherwise, if any of the information is wrong, I wouldn't send them out.

I agree with Lisa only send the save the dates to people who will be invited to the wedding and if the info on them is accurate. Happy planning!

Yes we are keeping the same date and the city is the same. Venue was not on STD. Though they are a bit fancier than would be used for a back yard wedding.

Totally up to you then, if you like them send them.

I think you should still send them to whoever you're planning to invite to the wedding Smiley smile

Save-the-dates aren't usually expected to be a "reflection of the wedding" like invitations are (and even that's a stretch, IMO). Plus, nobody's going to be walking around comparing your save-the-dates to the end result anyways.

I agree and think you should still send them out. The circumstances may have changed but you are still getting married that day

    Hello

How about creating a Free evite.me account. You can email your guests for free. On the evite invitation or Save the Date, enter the address of the wedding, time/date, and or particulars.

This will save you some money. People will click the link and respond Yes or No and how many people they are attending. Easy peezy. Good Luck! Weddings cost so much money, because you still have to live while planning the wedding and still live after the wedding.
