For those of you with DD and DDD (I don't think this'll help the larger...sorry) I swear by these bras!!! I've been wearing them since I was 15 when the girls came in. They are comfy, offer great support and are a great price!!! You can only get them online now.

I had a seamstress tell me to go to Fredericks of Hollywood for my corset bra. I was kind of shocked.

I have DD's and a strapless dress looked ridiculous on me. I bought my dress because I knew I wouldnt have to worry about it all night. I am wearing a strapless long line bra that I got from davids bridal 79.99. It holds them up along with the halter on the dress and it makes my boobs look great!

@Brit B, I commented toward you on the post "which dress did you look at and which one did you buy". This is the one from DB that you posted, it looks different than the stock photo on DB website though. Thank you, the longline bra works great with it.

I am a 36DDD and I think a strapless is going to be a little uncomfy for me. I am leaning towards a halter.

I get my bras a Lane Bryant. They are fabulous!!!!

Thank you ladies for all the comments, I see alot of you guys suggested a corset back. The only other thing that scares me is the dress having to fit tighter on the boobs to keep them up and then getting that horrible back fat hanging out =/

I have tried strapless bras before and just havent had luck with them, after having my son and breast feeding they are not full like they use to be, so when I have tried strapless bras my boobs either look like they are just laying in there and bouncing around on top or if the bra is smaller they are squished and instead of having two I end up having four.

@ Amber, see now your boobs are what I was talking about when I said "unless their fake, and a bra is not required". Your boobs are sitting up there and it doesn't even look like you are wearing a bra. They look like a fabulous pair, that cost a pretty penny

Well let's see... I'm a B... just give me one of your cup sizes and both of our problems can be solved! ;D

but for an honest answer... a lot of gals I know either do halter dresses, on shoulder dresses or they have the dress fitted so nothing falls out. I would avoid the sweetheart neckline or v cuts unless you feel confident with it, but don't let your cup size keep you from whatever dress you love most! Alterations are the miracle workers that make it work for YOU, not the other way around.

As a DD myself, I'm not confortable in strapless- no matter how well it's altered. I always feel like I'm about to pop out, or look like a playboy bunny. I keep the corsets in the bedroom...

My dress has a V shape with thicker tank straps- much like the second one Hayley posted. It was on clearance at DB and I got it for $300.

I'd suggest going to look at dresses. Tell the consultant about your concerns- and they can show you your options. Sometimes it's a longline bra (not for me). Sometimes, it's a dress with straps.
