My cousin, aunt and grandmother have all told me that I 'need' to put more expensive items on our registry. Accessing it I have a $240 vacuum, a $150 water & fire proof chest, a $200 Le Creuset stonewear set, a $120 NuWave oven and a $200 comforter set. Everything else is $100 and under. What is the...

What is the most expensive thing you registered for? I already have a brand new set of pots and a kitchen aide stand mixer that have never been used (engagement gifts).

The Gordon Ramsay stainless steel 11 piece cookware set for $500. That may be coming down, though, because my grandmother may get it for us for Christmas.

Behind that would be the KitchenAid in the $300 range.

A kitchenaid and a dyson vacuum were the most expensive on ours. The most expensive that someone actually got us? A Cuisinart, less than $200. If people are really set on giving you so much in gifts, why don't they just give you more than one to equal the amount they want to give?

Register for a vitamix blender. They are about $600 and it will change your life.

I have a 350$ generator, a$200 webber pizza attachment thing, and 32 $800 ride on beer coolers.. But thats really just a joke. We are not registering for much- i think we have 40 items total (and some of those are dog toys). We do have a pretty big honeyfund registry. Amd wrote on our site that we dont need much as we already combined two houses.

I think the most expensive things on our registry (that im really hoping we dont get) are the $500 sheets-comforter-shams set from Macys, $120 set of 12 coffee mugs from Dillards, $250 set of pans and pots from Dillards, and a $400 big-screen tv from Sears. Im really hoping nobody spends that kind of money on us, but they are there if they want to. The rest is little things under $20 each, and we still need to do a registry for BB&B and walmart

KitchenAid stand mixers are amazing for those who bake often.

I bake a couple times a week, some recipes call for a batter to be whipped until is 'peaks', which in some cases can take an upward of 10 minutes. Once I splurged and bought my first KitchenAid I was in heaven! Also amazing for when I make my chocolate chip cookies, the dough gets so thick it use to kill my arm with a hand mixer.

I would not have ever paid full price for one ( I am cheap like that) but she needed the cash and offered for $100. SOLD! I will say I have always used hand mixers, on my second now which is Emeril and about 9 years old) and It had a small freak out and would not turn on when I needed it. Soo I got the stand mixer. I have practically no counter space so it gets put away in pantry after using and its freaking heavy. I still use the old hand mixer about 25% of time time if its things like brownies or mashed potatoes. Much easier.
