I need to fire my Maid of Honor!

So I picked my Maid of Honor based on her being my best friend at the time and she is such a good person. Well after I asked her to be my MOH we fell out. Feelings were hurt, we said things and ever since then nothing has been the same. We made up but its not the same. On top of that she is the type of person to get everyone involved. Not cool at all. Well my son recently had a birthday party and my other friends got to meet her. They hate her, my mom said she doesn't get a good vibe and I now want to fire her because she is overbearing. She didn't go wedding dress shopping and hasn't helped out with anything. How do fire her without it hurting our friendship?

I just had to "fire" my sister and MoH because we fell out, some awful things were said and she has hated my fiance the entire time ice known him. She has constantly been hinting at me that he sucks and I should leave him and stay single forever, and that discussion got very heated to the point she was flat out yelling at me that she hates him and can't imagine being at my wedding and meet his mom without telling her how awful her son is. So I told her I love her, but I won't force her to pretend to support me when she feel so strongly against it, and that I will proceed without her if she finds it impossible to be happy for me.
My heart is so so broken. I feel like I lost my sister. If firing a MoH can destroy a relationship Like this it will decimate your non-familial friendship no doubt. 💔💔💔
