Best thing would be to consult your doctor and ask for a recommendation for a good dietition.

I you're an active person and can allow a couple extra carbs, like pasta, breads, etc.

Whaaaaaaaaaaattttttt???? LOL I think your the first bride to be who wants to gain weight LaMiranda. My hubby wants to gain weight as well so he drinks weight gainer shakes. Maybe you could try em. He swears by them and he is super into working out and being healthy. Smiley smile Good luck.

Well, this is a new one! Perhaps doing some muscle building activities will help you bulk up in a healthy way? Or the weight gainer shakes Michele recommended. OR just INDULGE if you can! That would be my choice... but, that's probably why I have the opposite problem that you do! LOL

Either way, good luck and I'm sure you'll look beautiful regardless of your weight!

5lbs is not going to make a difference either way unless you want to build some muscle. You don't really see a change in sizing until there a change of 10lbs or more. If you are simply trying to "plump up" in a certain area of your body, may I suggest using special undergarments?

@LaMiranda, I am also trying to gain weight for my wedding and have succeeded pretty well. I have been taking maca root which is a healthy supplement and i've gained weight in my chest & hips & butt area. Roughly I say i've gained about 15lbs. It helps if you do some type of exercise as well like squats & whatnot and carbs will help you as well. And protien will definitely help as well. You dont want flabby weight. You want it to be firm.

Carbs. That's how I gained the weight to fit in my dress. Hard not to overdo it though, because I do love my carbs.

Oh! If you drink milk, switching to whole helps, too.

First of all, WHAT THE HELL, Lol. Okay but I gain weight from drinking nutrition shakes. Some people drink them AS a meal. Try drinking them WITH your meal. It sure helped me, now I'm struggling NOT to gain more. Good luck.

Its actually harder to gain than to lose. I have the same problem.

Weight gainer! Twice a day, try to get in **** calories a day on top of what you eat. You need to consume more in calories than you are burning. 5000 calories a day.

Dont go straight for carbs to gain go for a healthy nutrient enriched gain like the weight gainers will have. You can also drink the Ensure Plus, its for weight gain, drink 3 a day. I think the vanilla kind is pretty good. lol

And believe it or not it harder to maintain a good weight when you're skinny, its not an easy problem to have for those who think it is.. ask any DR how hard it really is.. I fear getting sick because 5 pounds lost will make me look sickly or look like Im a drug addict. Who wants to look like that?

I've been going to the gym more and focusing on weights. I usually am drawn to eating a lot of fruit/salads/crackers throughout the day but I've been trying to eat turkey sandwiches or other things that are heavier for snacks. I thought I was lucky and would eat more cookies, etc. but it went to the wrong places.

Well I weigh 130 and want to be 125 let's switch! lmao!

I would go to gnc and ask them too, they might have good supplements and shakes that will add on mass so you are not eating terrible foods making you feel gross :/
