Please let me know what you are thinking at this time? I'm not sure if I should still have my wedding because we don't know what the next 5 months will bring, maybe this will all be gone? or just reschedule for next year? but who knows what next year will bring.. Please let me know what you are thinking at this time? I'm not sure if I should still have my wedding because we don't know what the next 5 months will bring, maybe this will all be gone? or just reschedule for next year? but who knows what next year will bring.. I am feeling so lost. I don't want to risk my family members health in any way. Eloping is not an option for us. It's very important to us that our family is there witnessing us getting married and celebrating right after. So either we keep our date this year or move to next August. What are your plans so far?

After posting something similar, even though I know how i felt about everything and i just wanted to make sure i was on the right track. I would say leave it when it is. mine is at the end of august and its outside so hopefully everything will be back to some what normal by then.

August 7th bride here! My fiance and I have had our fair share of concerns surrounding our wedding as well but I agree with many of the other brides here that it is way too early to do anything. Every day the news is changing so we feel like making any big decisions regarding our wedding right now is a bit premature. We will reassess in June but until then, try not to stress out! This is what I keep telling myself and that we are all in this together. :-)

Mine's August 8th and we're not currently planning to change anything. I've posted similar things in a few other threads, but one thing that helped me feel less anxious was to write down all of the possibilities. What will happen if we can only have 50 people? 25? 10? What if the venue cancels? etc. Having plans for everything even though I won't need most of them gives me a sense of control, which is comforting.

We just moved ours from April 24th to August 28th, my cousin and his fiancee just moved from May 9th to August 15th. We have high hopes and faith that this will be over by then. I'm a little nervous because I didn't even consider it not being ok by August.

Moved our April 19th wedding to August 23rd. Cannot go through the emotional toll of changing again so I’m really holding out hope that this will resolve by five months from now. I know other brides from April that moved to July, which gives me some hope

Mine is August 22nd. We called the venue and vendors and they agreed that we can change the date once without any financial repercussions. They were very understanding of the circumstances. My fiance and I will reevaluate mid-end of April. I think it would be helpful to set up a back up plan to ease your mind.

Thats a good plan. If we can't do it this August we're going to have to postpone for next August. Thats our only choice since it has to be in the summer

We are also very Catholic and are planning a large wedding and reception on August 29th! It means so much to have our family and friends there. I think that is a great idea for hand sanitizer. I have also been a Nervous wreck, but you are giving me so much hope!

We are praying over here to! God is in charge & he will heal.
Also, I graduate in May with my Bachelors then start Student Teaching in the Fall do we have to do summer as well. I am also working around dairy farming life.
    This is quite the adventure

August 15th bride here! So happy to have this forum to connect with you all going through the same thing. While I know that we could all have it worse and we still have time to see how this all plays out, it still weighs very heavy on the heart.

Showers, bachelorette parties, dress fittings, etc are all once in a lifetime events and memories we all have been looking forward to experiencing leading up to the wedding. It’s finally our turn to be the bride and now it’s all in jeopardy. I know that having found the love of our lives is what’s most important here but we do still have a right to feel sadness.
