I Spy and photo share cards?

Jennifer, on January 19, 2012 at 8:27 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 10

Has anyone done an I spy and combined it with the cards asking guests to post their digital photos on your website? If so want to share what wording or how you did this?

Thanks!

I haven't done it but I've seen this topic posted a lot :o) These are the ideas that I've seen... display 1 or 2 cards on each table so the guests know what to do. You can pretty much use any type of idea you can think of. To let the guests know where to post their digital images get business cards printed out (make sure they match your eye spy card) and make sure someone places one at each place setting. You can get 250 free from vistaprint! I've been to a wedding where they did this and it worked out perfectly. If you have a wedding website it wouldn't hurt to put it Hopefully this helps!

I think we're going to put it all in one place and do an I Spy card for each place setting (so it wouldn't be business card size, but maybe 5X7), but not 100% sure yet. Here's another inspiration, but they're all pretty much the same as Kimi's. I just looked at a lot of them on etsy/google to pick out my favorite things and made up a couple of our own!

So seems like most people do 1 I spy card per table and then would do the business cards for the website at each place setting? That would work, I was thinking of combining them somehow, but I guess that would be alot of paper on my table lol.

    Thanks guys!

I made rack cards from Vistaprint for the EyeSpy cards, and had business cards from them for the shutterfly.com request to upload their photos. Since we also did a DIY photo booth, we had postcards from Vistaprint set up there, so they knew where they could order their favorite pics of themselves or other guests. Everyone loved the idea, and several actually posted :-)

@Jennifer, are you doing menus? If not you could place the I Spy card (5x7 like Juilette said) at each place setting and then the upload info at the bottom. You want to be sure people can bring the cards home with them so they can remember where to upload their pictures. It may seem like a lot of paper but I think once the tables are done it would all fit pretty nicely. Most people will be putting the cards in their purses/coats to take home.

I never thought of this until I saw this board - here's what I came up with! (now off to change fonts/colors and make it fun!) I plan on printing it on a 4x6 or 5x7 and putting one frame and 2 cameras at each table :-)

    I ♥ SPY

Use the camera and look around,

Hunt for those pictures that need to be found!

Shoot away & complete the list,

Find moments the photographer may have missed!

    Bride & Groom dancing

    Bride with father

    Groom with mother

    People holding hands

    Couple hugging

    Your favorite decoration

Group photo of everyone at your table

    M.O.H. or bridesmaid dancing

    Best man or groomsman dancing

    The best dancer in action

    Photographer taking a picture

    DJ playing the music

    Artistic shot of your dinner

Bride and groom cutting the cake

    Cutest older couple

    Groom kissing the bride

Ok, so I tried with the different fonts and colors and decided my fonts weren't good enough to make it look nice - it just looked awkward some huge n bold some small. So i decided to go with a common font throughout and use just our 2 wedding colors (or close anyways)

    What do yall think? :-)
