I Spy template, feel free to use! Lace and burlap theme

FutureMrsShaneCo, on May 27, 2012 at 9:47 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 7

I couldn't for the life of me find an I Spy template that wasn't for photoshop (which I don't have), and I couldn't figure out the rack cards to do them on Vista Print. So I made my own on Mixbook, and it matches my guest book that I made there as well. Feel free to visit and use if you would like Smiley smile

"best dancer" is kinda hard to read (font is too thin, can you make it bold?)

Also, it doesn't appear that it is the right dimensions for the rack cards. Do you have a plan for the extra space above and below the image?

**oops, misread, you don't plan to upload this to VP, never mind Smiley smile

one more, Did you already order the cameras?

    Very Cute!

It's not on a rack card, it's through Mixbook and it's on a 5x7 invitation card. I already ordered the cameras and already made weddingturtle.com cards to put on the tables as well : ) I'll fix the best dancer one to a different font that is more legible, thanks for the input!

Can you return the cameras? It is going to cost a lot of money to develop pictures that most likely turn out bad. Your guests will be able to capture much better photos on their own cameras.

    Just a suggestion.

As someone who prints pictures as a job- I would agree with Hayley on the returning the cameras. Most of them come out just as horribly as the one she posted. With the price of even getting them just put onto a CD being around $7 each you just spent a lot of money for crap, when even cell phone cameras are better then noisy pictures.

I can return them, but it's mainly for my grandma who has no idea how to use a digital camera and doesn't own one. She is a little obsessed with the disposable ones, and I want her to have cameras to use if she can. I was worried about them not being used or not coming out so great though. Did yours turn out bad even with a flash on them?

The flash is really only good for up to 15 feet, and will completely wash out people closer then 7ish feet. So you either get what Hayley posted or washed out faces.

If you are worried about your grandma just keep a couple for her to use.

I wish they still made the disposable kind that were like mini polaroids. Those would be so nice for I Spy cards IMO. The card looks great! I love the colors and the fonts, but agree some of it is hard to read. It may be hard to read on a 5x7. Personally I would bold or change the color for the "Marianne and Shane holding hands". The color and how thin the font is makes it kind recede into the background.
