While watching a video from my favorite Youtuber she read a letter from a writer who mentioned that she'd recently gained 40 pounds due to an injury and her partner was no longer attracted to her. As their sex life began to dwindle he told her "I suggest you have sex with someone else".

If you were no longer attracted to your husband/wife would you be okay with him/her getting sexual relief from someone else? Why or why not?

Oxford defines open marriage as "marriage or relationship in which both partners agree that each may have sexual relations with others." I guess it wouldn't be an open marriage according to that definition.

Ugh. This hit me in the heart. I hurt my back last year. I went from active nearly daily for over and hour (so I was fit and toned) to literally sedentary.

Over the the course of diagnosis and failed treatments I gained 45lbs. In May I had spine surgery and it’s terrifying to have someone noodling around all of those delicate ropes that determine if you feel things.

During my early recovery I gained another five pounds. I’m working on getting back to my old self now but I won’t be able to workout for 1year to 18 months. I lm already coping with my own body dysphoria and adjustment d/o. I don’t need to hear about how I’m not bang-able as well. Entrepreneurs created the flesh light and porn for a reason. If you can’t be sexually satisfied by me rn go knock on off to a Snapchat Premium account but building a relationship with another person is actual trash, IMO.

It would be an absolute divorce-able discussion if my husband decided he needed to have sex with someone else or he wanted me to get together with someone else for my needs. To me, this isn’t about attraction. I didn’t marry my husband for sex. He’s more than that and my attraction doesn’t wane because of physical changes.

I “suggest” you are smarter when choosing a life partner... who says that? He clearly doesn’t love her for who she is

Hard no. If my fiancé made a comment like that he would no longer be my fiancé.

I personally wouldn't be o.k.... I originally was getting married in 2018 and due to health issues and taking medication and injections
caused me to gain. When my dress
came back after 8 months I couldn't fit it no longer. My fiance was so supportive and to
prove his love he ask me to go to court house
and get married on his late Mother's birthday.
Which is going to be a surprise to my family
so we'll also be doing our vows over. P.s hope I fit my dress June 20 2020. Lol
