I guess I was so nervous I walked down the aisle with my dad too fast. Has this happened to anyone?

I have heard of that before. Nothing to worry about though. It's not the thing people will remember about the wedding.

Yes! I got married 3 months ago and this is the one thing I keep replaying in my head. At the time, I was so overcome with emotion that I was trying to walk in a straight line and not wobble. Then I thought I was walking too slow so I picked the pace up. I've seen it in my wedding video and it doesn't look terrible, but I certainly could have been more slow and graceful! Oh well. . .

I decided not to walk down the isle...so glad we decided to have a private ceremony!
Honestly I doubt anyone will remember you walking down the isle "too fast" so don't worry! 🙂

The "bridal walk" of taking one step and bringing the feet together before the next step really does prevent this and actually looks good. I started out doing it but then thought it was too slow and cheesy so began walking normally and that's when my pace picked up. One of my bridesmaids walked this way and she looks so graceful. I wish I had kept walking this way!

    I wouldn't worry about it. I think I walked a little fast, too. 😊

I'm sure I walked fast, too. I was very nervous! But it's behind you now and you're married! Try not to dwell on it. Smiley smile

It's very common. You want to get "there." I wouldn't stress, as a PP stated no one will be remembering that. It happened, it's whatever. Just enjoy the amazing memories you made Smiley smile

Rushing down the aisle is pretty common. Literally every rehearsal I've ever attended has walked through the procession at least twice to get the feel of how slow you need to go.

If it makes you feel any better, I honestly don’t remember details of anyone’s walk down the aisle at any wedding I’ve ever been to lol.

I spent like all day Sunday watching Four Weddings and I noticed it is very common. I wouldn't worry about it Smiley smile no one will remember. And if they noticed, I'm sure they just thought it was awesome you wanted to get up there and marry your FH!
