Speak to a nutritionist about how to effectively change your diet.

You need to drink water - if you don't like the taste by a water bottle infuser and infuse fresh fruits or cucumbers into it.

Water is a factor in weight loss. I get it though, I don't like water either, however, it is a necessity. Have you tried infused water? I usually use strawberries, mint and lemon and it gives it some flavor. Not too much, but some.

You should also consult a doctor about how to lose the weight in a healthy way.

Echoing PP in that you need to drink water. I drink over a gallon a day. Anything less and I feel like crap and my skin breaks out and I bloat. Skip the supplements unless you're hitting the gym. Make time for the gym or another workout, wake up early and go if you have to. I get up and go at 4 am then work a full day. Either you make time or accept that it isn't a priority for you. There's lots of free youtube videos you can do at home. I like the BodyRock series.

Get a fitbit or other step counter and aim to get 10,000 steps a day. Go for walks. Run if you can. I LOVE the ZenLabs Couch to 5k app. Make an effort to move a little more and eat healthier every day! You can do this!

    Punctuation is your friend.

You absolutely need to drink water so I would learn to love it. There isn't a magical pill that will replace all of the good that water does for your body.

Also, start exercising. You don't need a gym to exercise and being busy with work isn't much of an excuse. I have an extremely demanding job so I get up every morning at 5 to run. You just have to make it a priority in your schedule.

First water is important . . I personally love water now but as a kid I hated it .. think bottle of water clean refreshing 0 calories . . A can of coke lots of sugar , sodium , carbonation (which makes you hungrier and increases stomach size ) and high calories . That being said . .. I keep my calories at 1200 to 1500 a day and lose weight .. I lost over 50 lbs (close to 60 ) in a year .. I gained 75 lbs while pregnant with my 1 year old .. went from a size 4 to a 14 .. I'm currently a size 8 and have 15 lbs to go

I could help you. I am going to be doing some workout programs before my wedding. It includes meal plans and everything you need to know in order for you to accomplish your goals. Oh and the best part is I do them at home whenever I have time.

Water is your friend! Try infusing it, like others mentioned. In regards to diet, think of it as a "lifestyle change". Lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, lean proteins, meal alternatives like beans/lentils. Cut out processed foods. Use apps like My Fitness Pal to track what you are eating and stay within your caloric goal (varies depending on other factors).

I also work all the time and study and I make time to go to the gym 5 days a week. You have to make it a priority.

With that said, your diet is much more important than the gym. So, if you truly do not WANT (never say 'cant') to work out, as long as your diet is on point, the pounds will fall off.

100% recommend Weight Watchers. I started almost 2 months ago and I've lost about 15 pounds. It makes me really think about what I'm eating and how much. I also really need to log everything on the app. It keeps me accountable. Also the Weight Watchers community has been amazing. It's designed to be a lifestyle change and not a diet. You don't need to starve yourself to get healthy and lose weight. Drink lots of water, fruits, and veggies. Eat more lean protein and less sugar.

Slow and steady is the healthiest way to lose way and keep it off.

As has been stated many times already, drinking plenty of water is important for most diet plans. If you want to break it up a little, you could infuse water with fruits, or you could drink a little black coffee or unsweetened tea (hot or iced). With the coffee and tea, though, you can't add anything to it, no flavoring, no sugar, no cream or milk. Otherwise, it's not a sugar free drink with no calories.

It really helps to download an app so you can track what you eat. It will help you see how quickly calories can add up, see which foods to avoid, and see the importance of portion control. Logging your food will also help you stick to healthier portions.

Weight loss is mostly about what you're eating, and a little exercise. Your diet will be the bigger factor. Cut sugar, limit carbs and stick to complex carbs like whole grains and fruits when you do eat them, eat vegetables and lean proteins, and exercise portion control.

Try weight watchers! I try to get to the gym, but am not always successful. I am still loosing weight on weight watchers without the gym. Water is important though. I've found it helpful to not drink my calories at all so I only drink water or unsweetened iced tea. Flavored seltzer water is a good option, but it can make you a bit bloated. Good luck!

It's not just about calories, it's about consuming the right calories. I had been eating 1,500 calories a day, and talked to a nutrition coach to develop a plan for me and he has me eating 1,800 calories a day and tracking my macros. He has me working out 6 times a week, 3 of those are my fitness classes I already attend and the other 3 are walking on the treadmill at 3.5 mph at a 10 incline for 30 minutes. With this, I should tone up and lose about 5 pounds of fat in the next 6-8 weeks and after that, I just have to maintain. Crash diets don't work, you shouldn't be starving yourself. Meal plan, track your macros, drink a ton of water, and hit the treadmill a couple times a week and you should be golden.

How do you not like the taste of something that tastes like nothing?

Further more- you don't HAVE to work out to lose weight- but it's highly recommended because "weight" is kind of generic- without any sort of fitness plan- "weight" often is- muscle, bone density AND fat.

what you want to do is maximize fat loss- not just lose whatever.

So- finding something to move your body is good. Wellness is fitness and diet- not just one or the other.

An easy way to start working out is using an app on your phone that's called 8fit. It has miniature 10 minute workouts that you can do everyday without needing any equipment or much space. Also try planning and prepping your meals for the week. Don't wait till you're hungry to decide what's for dinner... because then you end up eating a bunch of cheez puffs and ice cream. Or at least I do. Haha. Also don't keep food in your house that you don't want to eat.

I have 4 kids also and understand the struggle sometimes to find time for yourself. Crash diets and fad diets don't work long term and some aren't at all healthy. I'd suggest tracking what you eat currently and identifying problem areas that you can improve on. For me it's soda. I know I've been drinking too many lately, so I'm cutting back again. There are a lot of little switches you can make in what you eat and choose a healthier option. I also don't generally like water. When we were on city water, it was terrible. There are certain bottled waters that taste off to me. I had to try a few different brands to find a couple I liked. And I drink water with most of my meals because I think the taste issue is less noticeable then. I also coach soccer and actively run around with the team and make it a point to go in the yard to play actively with my kids. Soccer, football, hula hoop, just whatever gets us outside running around.

My FH and I tried not to eat too much carb. In our case it would be rice, noodle and pasta Smiley smile

We also try to exercise at least 2-3 times a week. If you don't have time, try walking during break. We drink Soylent for dinner too instead of a full meal.

You still have plenty of time! So you got this Smiley smile
