Hi, I know this is a bit........unusual, but.......we were thinking of doing a soft-serve ice cream bar-type thing at our reception. Problem is, I can't seem to find ANY vendors in our area who does this type of thing.......has anyone ever done this in the Philly area? If so, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This idea is awesome!! I would look into Coldstone Creamery. I know you said soft serve but if you're up for hard ice cream, there's a CC in Philly... their website says they have catering!

We are doing Ben and Jerry's! It is only around $500 for 75 people.

We are doing an ice cream bar too! I asked our venue if I could set a table up and do an ice cream bar and they actually offer it on some of their other event packages so they said we could add it to ours. Instead of serving strawberries and whip cream with the cake we are forgoing that and having the ice cream bar, which will be $2.50/pp instead of the normal $5/pp.....plus they said I can bring in whatever toppings i want that they dont offer. im so excited! good luck with your search!

We went to a wedding with an ice cream bar and it was amazing! One of the flavors was orange chocolate chip and It was to die for! It wasn't soft serve but a local company in the SF Bay Area. Definitely go for it but don't limit yourself to just soft serve.

We wanted to do it but our venue doesn't do it, so we are doing ice cream cakes.

I've actually seen a Cold Stone ice cream bar on some of the menus that I've gotten from venues when I was looking. (I'm in Philly too). You may also want to try Bassett's. There's one in the Reading Terminal.

Try searching frozen yogurt or froyo as well instead of ice cream.
