Ice cream truck?

Thoughts? There's this super cute vintage truck and they dress in 1950's uniforms. We really wanted fresh scooped ice cream, but they only do local artisan sandwhiches/bars. Would this be too tacky/cheap? (It's not cheap though lol). I just love the idea of this, and they have Vegan and GF options. FH is worried it'll look lame to have a bunch of people opening a ice cream wrapper.

No, my brother and his wife had a Blue Bunny ice cream truck and people loved it!!!

I think it sounds yum. We considered a local ice cream place that will come onsite and use the nitrogen to make ice cream with specific toppings. We also had information from a vendor who does amazing ice cream and cookie sandwiches. They have the option to make them onsite or have them already prepared, for half the price! I think the treat is having it there as an option, not so much opening up paper. I'd love to have ice cream at my event and i hope to be able to still.

Love it! My FSIL had a pizza truck and a cookie/ ice cream truck at her wedding and it was great!

My cousin had an ice cream truck at his reception, and it was so memorable and cute! I love this idea, I say go for it!

Not at all! We brought in a mobile ice cream cart from a local place in addition to cake and it was a huge hit! They had mini cones, and push-pops for those who didn't want the cones. The push-pops were made in advance, I guess similarly to the ice cream bars your place makes, and the cones were scooped to order, but everything was homemade in fun, artisan flavors. We had 3 flavors for push-pops, and 3 flavors for the cones, and they were able to put a customized label on the push-pops with our names and wedding date on it. It was super cute and I'm sooo glad we did that instead of some dumb favor!!!!
