I am having two flower girls, one is my niece who will be a toddler, and the other is a friend's daughter who will be 9 (she just loves my niece and can help her down the aisle). I have another friend who is 13 and as she's a bit old for a flower girl, and I already have all my BMs, I decided to include her by asking her to hold my bouquet as I say my vows. I found a bunch of how-to-ask-your-flower-girl poems, but none that worked for a "flower attendant" so here is what FH and I came up with:
The flowers carried by a bride
Have meaning to impart:
They speak of love now blossomed,
And the joining of two hearts.
So as the bride and groom join hands
On our wedding day,
I need a special person
To hold my bride’s bouquet.
Will you be my flower attendant?
Thought maybe someone else might be able to use the idea!
