Ideas on how to incorporate the RING POP

JenniferandRick, on November 7, 2014 at 3:54 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 15

My FH used a ring pop to purpose to me a few times the first few years we were together. This was all done in fun and he loved to buy them for me at Christmas time. When the real proposal happened, he drilled out a ring pop and put the real ring inside. He proposed with the ring pop but surprised me with the real ring. It was very sweet.

I would love to incorporate ring pops into my wedding but i can't think of anything that isn't elementary. It's not something i want to give as a favor, or use for decor. I would like to give people the option of having a ring pop, but i don't want it as an eye sore either.

Anyone have any ideas?

Will you have a dessert table? Have a basket of them there with a little note about how much they mean to you.

Maybe just have one at each place setting?

    Favors?

These are a little over $1 each, not sure what your budget is.

Personally I would love getting a ring pop as a wedding favor.

That would work...just put them in a basket at the desert table with some info and be done...perfect. I'm usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out but i just couldn't picture it.

I'd maybe find some less lame packaging for them and give them out as favors.

You could wear one to the ceremony. At the ring exchange, you can make a big show of moving the ring pop from your left hand to your right hand so the wedding ring can go on your left hand!

@ Koch Bride - really? i didn't think anyone would want a ring pop as a favor.

@Staci - my budget is not that high. That's a lot of money for a favor box. I'm able to make my own favor boxes too. I've found the ring pops for $0.75 each on amazon with a quick search. I suspect if i looked harder, i could find them cheaper.

I think they would be great favors, I would see if you could get them in your wedding colors and put them in a ring box!

What about the RB or FG carrying them down the aisle? That way it's just a small touch?

I agree they'd make cute favors and I like Val's idea of getting them in your wedding colors.

I've been to weddings before where they had cards printed out and placed on tables with some facts about the b & g others may not know. Maybe you could explain the ring pops there or like others have suggested put them up on the cake table.

They would make great favors. You could also incorporate them into your shower and/or bachelorette too!
