Ideas!?!

Hi Matt&Allie! If you plan to do your own makeup you’d save yourself some money! I typically use Fenty. There are 50 different shades. You also have the option of choosing their matte foundation or the hydrating one which is usually used if you have dry skin.

I'm doing my own hair and makeup so I'll share what I've collected!

First, I used this video from Allie Glines. It's a fantastic tutorial using only drugstore brands! She used the Loreal Infallible foundation and I used Estee Lauder's Double Wear (I splurged on it a while back and use it for all my special occasions, so I know exactly how it wears on my skin!). I made a few other changes to her video, and you can see them all in my post about this which is linked by the photo!

My main takeaways are (1) if you have products you know work well with your skin and your style, use them (2) allocate more time than you usually would and pay more attention to the little details (3) practice, practice, practice!

For hair, I watched this video and this video. You should be able to find videos for any hairstyle, length, or hair type you're looking for! I'll be using all my regular tried and true hair products (Eva NYC dry shampoo, Eva NYC city grit texture spray, Babyliss 1.25" and 1.5" curling irons - yes I have two, both were gifts I promise! - and whatever hairspray is currently in my cabinet).

I was going for a look that is "me but more" so I wanted something romantic and soft - soft glam at most.
