Hey Ladies! I leave a question for you..

I’m planning a beach ceremony and wanted to incorporate something special and different after the vows.
Is there anything you did for your ceremony that made it special? Or was there something different at a wedding you went to?
I saw some people add sand together into a jar or have there parents say intentions for their marriage rather than having a reading. I’m curious to see your thoughts and ideas of what you’ve done 🌺🏝

Our wedding is also a beach wedding!! We are doing a handfasting ceremony after our vows. My best friend of 53 years (omg) is a JOP, but in the state of New Hampshire, so Florida won't allow her to actually officiate our ceremony. My amazing wedding officiant suggested this as a way to include her.

I am also considering this -----> After your wedding ceremony has completed, your guests are offered shells and they are encouraged to bless or wish upon on it. The bride and groom, and entire wedding party then toss the blessed shells into the ocean. HOWEVER, I need to check with my venue, as they know all the rules and regulations of the island (like we can't use artificial flowers, confetti, etc)

With the heat & sun as a factor, I didn't really want to do anything that would extend the actual ceremony too much. (thinking of guest's comfort)
