If i pay for the wedding website and claim a domain name, will the basic website url still work?

We created a wedding website and put the basic URL (weddingwire.com/website/(custom name here)) on our save the dates. We have paid for the website so we can download it, and want to change the domain name to put on our wedding invitations. However, we don't want to confuse anyone. So before claiming a personalized domain name, could anyone tell us if the basic URL will still be accessible to our guests?

Hi Berkley! If you create a premium, custom domain, your default free domain will still work! The premium domain purchases are valid for only one or two years (depending on which is selected during checkout,) so keeping this domain active ensures your website will always be live and visible regardless of your premium website membership.
