If my bridesmaids are wearing navy blue

Bunnycita, on March 25, 2017 at 6:42 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

What should my FH mom wear? She asked me today to tell her the color she should wear. Also the groomsmen (his 2 brothers) my FH is wearing navy blue tuxedo. Should they wear navy blue or something in the grey family? Opinions ?

I told my mom to wear something she is comfortable in. That's all that matters to me. I extended the same sentiment to my dad and FH's parents. All that matters to us is their presence.

My bridesmaids will be wearing navy as well. I told my mom she could where whatever she wanted she is choosing to wear something in the blue family but not navy ...the groomsmen will be in khaki with navy accents ...I would do grey but my colors are navy and gold and I think grey is better suited with silver

Mom can wear whatever color she wants.

My FH is wearing a navy tux, and his BM is wearing a gray tux. FWIW, my MOH is wearing blush pink.

BMs, FH, and GM are wearing navy. Ties, shirts, and flowers will all be light colors so it's not SUPER overkill. I told the moms to wear whatever they would like. My mom choose a strapless navy dress. Not what I expected, but I'm sure it'll be lovely. Let the moms wear whatever. No one will care and your moms will be happy!

We had navy dresses, with gray tuxes. Loved the color match up. Let Mom what she wants. Maybe something close to your flowers?

Lilac! I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding last summer and her mom wore lilacs while we all wore navy blue. It was executed perfectly. For my own wedding, my bridesmaids are wearing burgundy and my mom is wearing navy blue! So maybe you could switch this color scheme?

Mine are all in navy as well, FH and GM are in grey and navy. My mom picked a blush dress, but I told her to wear whatever she wanted. Don't see why you need to assign a grown woman a color?
