Illinois Summer Brides

Hello everybody!


My wedding date has not been postponed yet, but I received an email from my venue stating that the IL governor is going to make a decision on weddings on May 30th (I’m assuming for summer brides and what social distancing will look like) I was talking to my hair/makeup stylist and our trial and backup trial dates have to be rescheduled again and she told me that almost 80% of her June/July weddings have canceled or postponed and she is worried that even ones that have been rescheduled from March to July may be rescheduled a 3rd time.
I was looking into doing an elopement at a public park and just having it be my fiancé, myself, an officiant and our photo/video team (totaling about 6 people) and we received an email back from some of these places that they have been directed to cancel any events until July 1. AND THIS WAS FOR UNDER 10 people in a park, just requiring a permit.
Just sharing my learnings. Hopefully this can bring clarity for some.
