Will the seamstress be able to fix this issue or be able to take it out. The illusion fits on the back just not the right color. When I first said yes to the dress it looked super perfect on me( with the grips) now after receiving it in my size it doesn’t look the same.

You’d be surprised what magic a seamstress can pull. Idk what mine did to my prom dress but mine was also baggy in that area and somehow it perfectly fit after she worked on it. It never hurts to consult with someone and see what they can do.

If your seamstress can remove the illusion from the front, try to do that! You’re petite and should be just fine without it!
